We specialize in gelcoat removal with our gelcoat planer.   The process is clean and precise and is the best choice for Osmotic Blister problems.   We leave the vessel bottom smooth, removing all coatings, gelcoat and a small amount of fiberglass laminate. The laminate that is removed is usually in a "wet" or damaged state. This allows bottom "drying" to begin. We recommend this process for all blistered bottoms.
